As part of the inauguration celebration of DePauw’s 21st President, Dr. Lori S. White, DePauw University hosted a symposium on the afternoon of Thursday, September 30th. The theme of inauguration was Rise, (from the Maya Angelou poem “Still I Rise”). The symposium, in keeping with that theme, highlighted community, connectedness, research, creation, and reflections on justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion. This symposium celebrated the work of DePauw faculty, staff, and students with the goal to fully represent the collaborative, complex, and creative work brought to the campus community.
