Abstract
How can we study games? Any attempt will require a scholar to be well versed in multiple methods. In order to adequately analyze and unpack a game we need to consider questions of literary theory, film theory, and play. This introductory section will serve as the foundation for my analysis of three case study games. I will briefly give an overview of my analytical method of choice, ludology, and then explain how it relates to narrative.
