Abstract

For my senior project I will create a sentiment analysis tool for Facebook posts, which will track the positive, negative, and neutral sentiments of users concerning the two presidential candidates. This project will monitor Facebook's API platform for posts concerning the current presidential election, and then visually demonstrate the data from the posts I’ve mined. The project will be built using Facebook’s Graph API and an application called the Datumbox API 1.0v.
