Abstract
Computer science majors have been presented with, and made to think about, the various ways in which technology can impact the lives of all people. Not just coding, but also big data, 3-D Printing, and a host of other innovative technologies that will vastly change how life is lived. However, not everyone is so fortunate as to have this knowledge, yet the impact will be the same. DigiQuest will seek to research and then educate non-technical majors about the future technologies that will innovate their fields. By doing so, this will create a new generation of tech-savvy leaders who can integrate technology into their work. DigiQuest seeks to remedy this issue with informed research, engaging presentation, and lasting themes. First, will be an in-depth investigation into emerging technologies and their business, social, and economic bearing. DigiQuest will have up-to-date information on the ways in which people are innovating traditionally non-technical jobs. Second, DigiQuest will allow for an engaging experience for users by entailing interactive and fun modules. In this way learning will be fun and information easily retained. Lastly, there will be a conversation forum where users can share their thoughts, examples, and suggestions to the community. The majors DigiQuest will cover are: Education, Communication, Language Studies, Political Science, and History.
