Abstract
When Indiana Asbury College was founded in 1837, the groundwork was laid for a future unimaginable at the time. Though originally dominated by white men, the mission and values were put in plave tht afforded amazing accomplishments and continued progress over the next two centuries, culminating in the anauguration of Dr. Lori White as DePauw's 21st President. While there have been many "firsts" realized at DePauw, we would like to share ten that exemplify our heart, spirit, care and commitment to our community and larger world. As our motto states, "The college is the light and the splendor of the common good."
