Abstract

During this contentious election cycle, we’re all focused on current issues that are important to us, as well as the state of American democracy, and our duties as citizens. Libraries are good places to gather the reliable information you need. We have historical sources, scholarly writing, and, of course, newspapers.

One way to stay on top of current events and election news is to read a variety of established news sources, coupled with your regular favorites. Did you know that DePauw Libraries provides campus licenses to the website versions of The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The Chronicle of Higher Ed, and The Economist for all students, staff, and faculty? Each one has their own set of instructions for setting up access - you can find them here: https://libguides.depauw.edu/campuslicense
