DePauw Percussion Ensemble

The DePauw Percussion Ensemble, directed by Bonnie Whiting, presents its annual program of contemporary solo and chamber works—composed and improvised—in a non-traditional concert setting. The one-hour performance, in conjunction with the multi-media art exhibition Infinite Mirror: Images of American Identity, fuses contemporary art and music in the galleries at Peeler. Refreshments will be served following the event.

Benito Huerta, Professor of Painting and Director/Curator of the gallery program at University of Texas Arlington, will lecture on contemporary art as it relates to the exhibition Infinite Mirror: Images of American Identity. Caleb Weintraub, Assistant Professor of Art at Indiana University, will discuss his latest body of work on display at the Richard E. Peeler Art Center.
