Cuban-born visual and performing artist Felipe Dulzaides creates interdisciplinary works that are poetic responses to the fleeting and contingent circumstances and quirks of everyday life. -
Experimental Geography
September 19 – December 12, 2008
An exhibition exploring the distinction between geographical study and artistic experience of the earth, as well as the juncture where the two realms collide. Experimental Geographyis a traveling exhibition organized and circulated by iCI (Independent Curators International), New York. The guest curator for the exhibition is Nato Thompson. The exhibition, tour, and catalogue are made possible, in part, by the iCI Exhibition Partners. -
Building a Collection: Recent Gifts of Contemporary Art

This exhibition brings together a diverse range of artworks by an international roster of artists – all acquired through donations during the past 10 years – that represent significant additions to the University’s collection of contemporary art. -

An exhibition that presents the foremost U.S. collection of paintings from the New Leipzig School, a group of painters who are breathing new life into the East German tradition of social realist figure painting. -
Zoe Strauss: Works in Progress

A photographer of the social landscape, Zoe Strauss’s searing humanist portraits, photo-based installations and large-scale public projects pay particular attention to the overlooked – or purposefully avoided – details of life. -
