Course Description

We’re studying the ancient Western history of philosophy – essentially ‘The Greeks.’ They’re a fascinating bunch, offering (literally) classic takes on a huge range of philosophical issues, such that we might paraphrase an old saying and claim that all other Western philosophy consists in a “series of footnotes” to what we’ll study here. Buckle up for the primary sources!
