Course Description
Application of descriptive and inferential statistics to the behavioral sciences. Including measurements of central tendency, variability, and correlation, estimation and tests of significance, including Chi Square, t-tests and analysis of variance.

Student Outcomes
Demonstrate improved scientific inquiry and critical thinking skills by interpreting graphs and evaluating/explaining findings from statistical procedures. Demonstrate an increased knowledge of the content of Psychology as a field by explaining how scientific findings add to the knowledge base of psychology. Develop skills in data analysis and interpretation that are important for professional development by comparing various tests of significance. Demonstrate competency with varied forms of data analysis by correctly choosing the correct tests of significance.
