Course Description
This course covers some fundamental networking concepts, web application development and web application security and design. Topics covered include: introduction to the Internet, World Wide Web and internet protocols, markup languages, client side scripting, server side scripting, database concepts, encryption/decryption, web application vulnerabilities and how to build secure web applications.

Student Outcomes
1. Students will be able to understand the definitions and functions of the Internet and the World Wide Web. 2. Students will learn about cyber security and how to build secure web applications 3. Students will be able to develop full stack web application 4. Students will learn User Interface design basics 5. Students will demonstrate knowledge of technology and its implications in society and be able to leverage technology, where appropriate, for creative activities or innovative solutions to problems.
