Student Outcomes
At the end of this course students should be able to: (1) Construct a graph from quantitative data and make conclusions from the data. (2) List and explain the steps of the scientific method and construct a properly controlled experiment. (3) Explain how genetic material is inherited from generation to generation and the flow of genetic information within cells. (4) Describe the flow of energy in cellular metabolism. (5) Distinguish between mechanisms of biochemical communication of intracellular and extracellular interactions. (6) Describe the connection between structure and function in biological systems.
