Abstract
Eating in a restaurant is a common way for people to socialize. The first step in a restaurant is ordering food. The ordering process is also one of significant factors for customers to evaluate a restaurant. During meal times, many restaurants are always very busy due to more customers. At that time, customers normally need to wait longer for ordering food and waiters also become more prone to errors because of fatigue, which may not only make customers impatient because of wasting time, but also make the restaurant’s evaluation lower than it deserves. EMenu, an user interface, will fix this problem by allowing customer users to order food on the interface and restaurant users to check the orders. Emenu will utilize Java to develop the user interface which includes the customer users’ interface and restaurant users’ interface.
