Abstract
EZAnalyze is a desktop application written in C++ with a PHP “backend” and a MariaDB database for storing data. EZAnalyze is developed with the intent of creating a simple, user-friendly method for deciphering whether a given piece of software is dangerous or not. The process is simple: by just dragging the downloaded file onto EZAnalyze, the end user will be prompted with a score describing how sure EZAnalyze is that the file is malware and a basic description of why EZAnalyze reached that conclusion. Ease of access is key with EZAnalyze, so the process of using the software was made to match: no complex forms or other input, simply a chosen file and generated, un-editable output.
