Abstract

There are a little over one hundred Black students at DePauw (“DePauw Student Population and Demographics”). It is often difficult for Black students and alumni to connect, and many DePauw alumni and students desire to connect with each other. Alumnity is an online space for Black alumni and students to connect and share post-grad advice. Students and alumni can search each other by name, career field, and location to seek advice from each other. There will also be a bulletin board that allows users to post events and potential career opportunities. The website also features information about notable Black alumni and resources for students’ life after DePauw. Overall, Alumnity is for Black DePauw Tigers to always feel represented and connected with each other.
