Abstract

This project will be a web application for scoring competitive diving meets. The app will allow the user to score a diving event, save the results, and output them to an official IHSAA scoresheet format for official scoring. The app will also have pages listing important information and documents from the IHSAA or Greencastle’s swimming and diving team. The application will be simple enough for anyone with basic computer knowledge to use. Also, with the frantic pace at which diving events tend to go, the user will be able to quickly and easily navigate through the list of athletes. Finally, with the IHSAA only accepting one format for official scoring, rather than printing out and writing down all scores by hand, the user will be able to export the results to an official excel document and send them in electronically.
