Abstract
This project is a budgeting desktop application for Windows PCs. Many students and young adults struggle to budget their money, especially when they don’t have steady incomes. This application will help users organize and track their finances. Users will be able to insert their desired amount, keep track of their spending, and organize their funds all within the application.This desktop application will make saving money and tracking finances easy. On CashTrack the user will be able to add a dollar amount in which they want to budget, add transactions, set reminders via ‘CashCalendar,’ set desired goals for saving, set a specific budget for things like groceries or clothes, and organize transactions into each of the different categories (groceries, clothes, etc.). CashTrack will be geared towards students and young adults with a user-friendly design.
