Abstract
Melissa (Mel) Butler is a rising sophomore Pre-med Biochem major from Chicago, IL. She is also a spoken word artist working in mental health and social justice activism. She hopes that her poetry will remind people that they are never alone and that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.
