Abstract
Alexa Okey is a junior from Indianapolis, Indiana, majoring in studio art and psychology. She uses her art to explore themes of identity, family, and the complexities of human relationships. Her work is inspired by her own experiences as well as the work of artists like Howardena Pindell, who is known for her use of collage and abstract imagery.
