Course Description
● Explore the pronunciation of German, especially concentrating on its application to sung repertoire. ● Develop skills to quickly and easily transcribe German IPA into your music to help assist your learning experience and support your performance of German repertoire. ● Learn more about the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA), especially the symbols pertaining to German Diction. ● Apply what we learn in class to selections from the German repertoire, which you will perform in class.
