Student Outcomes

by the end of the semester, students will be able to: 1. Integrate expository and creative writing skills to produce clear, engaging, and well-crafted writing. 2. Understand the importance of giving and receiving constructive feedback and using it to improve their writing. 3. Adapt their writing style to different genres, such as personal essays, research papers, and creative writing. 4. Conduct research and use sources effectively in their writing, evaluate the credibility of sources, and cite sources correctly. 5. Revise and edit their own writing, as well as the writing of others, identifying and correcting errors in grammar, style, and organization. 6. Engage with guest speakers, such as writers, editors, and publishers, who can provide insights into the field
