Course Description
Viola applied lessons are designed to guide students in the development of their technical and musical skills. Students will be prepared to pursue a variety of career paths. AYenCon will be given to the steady improvement of instrument specific skills, musical understanding, arCsCc excellence, creaCvity, diversity of repertoire, historical and social context of studied works, and interdisciplinary connecCons. Students are expected to approach their lessons with dedicaCon, willingness, and diligent preparaCon. Covered materials will include scales, etudes, technical exercises, solo repertoire, chamber music, and orchestral literature as appropriate.
