Course Description
This is a beginning ceramics studio course that will introduce you to a variety of ceramics techniques. No previous art or ceramics experience is necessary. Using the information presented in class, you will solve a range of technical and conceptual problems in response to assigned projects. This survey course will consist of demonstrations, supervised studio work, critiques, lectures and working in the studio outside of class. You can expect to spend approximately 9 hours per week outside of class time to finish assigned projects.

Student Outcomes
1.
